This recently-opened, intimate lounge is surely unique for Truro and was sorely needed on the outer Cape. It's the place I'd love to keep quiet and all to myself--but the word is out.
The owners' found objects and treasures decorate the interior, while the view from the large window overlooking the Pamet marsh is stunning, especially at sunset (and the outdoor deck will be awesome in warm weather).
In addition to curated cocktails, the menu offers small plates with many creative vegan options as well as "grazing boards" with selected cheeses and meats.
Located in the small cluster of shops behind the post office, open Thursday-Saturday.
Fortunate to have this in Truro!

Baedega is an absolute gem in the heart of our little town of Truro. The owners are fabulous! They take much pride in what they have created and are are so welcoming. The enchanted, cozy atmosphere is one of a hidden haven, where every detail, from the decor to the lighting, works together to create a charming, eclectic and magically captivating experience.
The drinks are imaginative and range from the simple to the complex. The food is to die for! Soooo yummy.
When we are there we never want to leave.

Baedega is a women-owned slice of Provincetown chill in the heart of Truro. The full-service bar presents a rotating mix of house specials plus any standard fare (the bartender, named "Heat", makes a fantastic Tito's dirty vodka martini.).

The food menu features noshes and meals all prepared in-house by chef Christine. Amazingly, they are very sensitive to vegan and gluten free needs so most items on the menu can be prepared to suit any dietary restriction.

The venue is comfy and super intimate, with a 10 seat bar, a captain's table to meet new people, and deep cushioned couches. The deck overlooks the Pamet Marsh, one of the great salt marshes on the East coast, with a westward view that offers water color views of sunsets. Definitely aim for a sunset cocktail on the deck.

The staff are attentive and friendly and you will feel like a regular the moment you walk in. And because of that, you will be. But get there early! Some weekends there is an hour wait for later arrivals.

Baedega is new but off to a great start to join the ranks of Truro's other culinary gems. Highly recommend.
